The 75th anniversary of adidas was a big deal and it deserved a big moment to match.
For seven and a half decades, adidas has been shaping sport and culture. To celebrate the brand’s impact and the hard working humans that make the impossible look like nothing, we surprised campus with a music festival of epic proportions featuring none other than Run DMC.
With Ms. Basketball as our emcee, we kicked the evening off with a dance worthy performance by METTE. Keeping the groves high, Local Natives took the stage as over 4,000 people continued to party.
Knowing the importance of this moment and the history of adidas there was only one way for us to pay respect to 75 years - by closing down the house with Run DMC live featuring an encore performance of ‘My Adidas’.
The 75th anniversary was not only the largest event the Village had ever held, it was one of the most memorable - a night to never forget. Here’s to 75 more years.
